On the eve of September 11th, Kid Cudi posted an image on Instagram that included the notorious Kaws “X” eyes and Kid Cudi’s usual logo.
KAWS and Kid Cudi have collaborated before, most notably with renowned jeweler Ben Baller in 2021, to create a one-of-a-kind necklace specifically for the Met Gala. The piece was modeled after the 2020 Holiday Space open edition sculpture in Gold. Instead of Vinyl, it was made of 18K Gold and Diamonds (and valued at more than $1.5 million!).
